TIMEKEEPER : My name is Alden. I’m a 19 year old college student in California. Ummm, I joined pubmasters through some very secret operations which cannot be disclosed now or ever. I’m known as the Timekeeper. I keep the time ( as well as other things ).

*aAa* : why have you decided to come back on CS:S ?
TIMEKEEPER : We wanted to go back to CS:S because we thought there would be some great new things to try out. But as it turns out, a lot of our old "strategies" do not work anymore, so we need to think of something fast!
FRAILTY[8] : i think we did it because CAL was heading in that direction and weren’t going to support a 1.6 division. Plus its something new and i guess there was other stuff that we could do imo :] we pretty much done everything we could in 1.6, and this was something fresh. i hate source too
ONS1AUGHT : yep i think frail is right although i miss 1.6 =////
SNORLAX637 : source is mean to me

*aAa* : yes but you got some problems with the CAL because you were said to play "different". Is this conflict finished ?
SNORLAX637 : CAL demoted us from the Main division down to Intermediate after our first season as Pubmasters. the CAL-P admin wanted us moved up
FRAILTY[8] : CAL didn’t have a problem with it really. It was specifically the head of cal-main that didn’t like it i think all the other CAL admins liked us lol
ONS1AUGHT : lol they cannot deny that our teamwork was astounding
FRAILTY[8] : true. i’m pwning some dead guys in diablo 2. we should start a diablo 2 division
ONS1AUGHT : rofl frail. NO. I’M NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT GAME
FRAILTY[8] : fine fine halflife2 deathmatch, we’ll throw sinks at each other 

*aAa* : Who’s playing for the new generation of pubmasters ? did you recruit some new players ?
SNORLAX637 : Right now I believe the ’original’ pubmasters who are still playing are me, onslaught, techwarrior, timekeeper, and frailty bustacap is on our roster, but inactive I believe. There is also zerosix, Squirrel, clowN, who joined pubmasters shortly after our movie was released
ONS1AUGHT : we have a few additions because we are all pretty busy with school and are only semi-active. tofu is inactive as well
FRAILTY[8] : i deny that last statement squirrel/clown joined after we were finished with the 1.6 season
SNORLAX637 : tofu isn’t on the roster

ONS1AUGHT : oh ooops doh i miss tofu
FRAILTY[8] : i can’t even tell who’s in pubmasters now. everyone likes to throw on the tag for kicks or something

ONS1AUGHT : rofl 
 
*aAa* : Everybody knows that you’re not "normal" players, how do you recruit them ?
TIMEKEEPER : since we arent "normal" we dont recruit in a "normal" fashion either.
FRAILTY[8] : we go through a very intricate process of 8balling people but really, we usually try to recruit close friends. this is just in zerosix’s case, we had an 8ball elimination by asking chanserv if they are worthy of joining pubmasters
SNORLAX637 : All of the people we have recruited currently are friends of some original pubmaster and a person who we thought would be fit to carry the PU13|V|4ST3|2 tag
ONS1AUGHT : this holds true for everyone except zerosix as frailty just explained
FRAILTY[8] : future recruits, i believe we’ll continue to recruit close friends with some what good skill.

*aAa* : What are your first feelings about CS:S ? Is it really fun ? Will it be possible to see as many tricks as you made in CS 1.6 ?
TIMEKEEPER : CS:S is definitely not as fun.  They have made it into something so "realistic" that no one can possibly enjoy it. IT SUCKED! LoL!!! We seriously need to think of new things to do because half of our old stuff no longer works.
FRAILTY[8] : oh boy we recently had a match on cs:s, just to check CS:S out. we concluded that the game is pretty much trash right now
SNORLAX637 : I played in our first CS:S match on de_aztec. I did not like it much. Many of the maps are too dark, and I can’t tell when I hit people. Although it looks very pretty, the gameplay, in my opinion is much lamer than in the original Counter-Strike.
ONS1AUGHT : They still have much tweaking to do to go back to their original, fun and addicting counter-strike roots
FRAILTY[8] : I seem to get -100 fps when I record even though i get 70-80 constant, and i’m guessing a lot of people on our team have the same problem so we’re open to any hardware sponsorship hint hint.
SNORLAX637 : We’re also open to anyone who can provide me with candy

Then an impressive battle of slaps took place... We just tried not to get involved in the conflict. It would have been to dangerous to try to stop it.

FRAILTY[8] : what
SNORLAX637 : DO NOT SLAP.

FRAILTY[8] : NOW IS NOT THE TIME GUYS. god, east coast people are so violent. 

*aAa* : Do you have ambitions for the current season of the CAL ?
FRAILTY[8] : I don’t think we can continue our CS:S season with the way the game is right now so i’m not exactly sure
SNORLAX637 : I would rather revert back to 1.6 and finish off CAL’s last season of 1.6. But, that means we’ll have to come up with new material and I’m very lazy.
ONS1AUGHT : we are still talking over all the possibilties, everything is up in the air though
FRAILTY[8] : and the it’s kind of too late, since the season has already started. you’re bad
ONS1AUGHT : SHUT IT.

*aAa* : well if one day, you’d decide to play serious, would you be able to reach a certain level ? Kick Ksharp’s ass ?
TIMEKEEPER : I doubt I would ever kick Ksharp’s ass. Before Pubmasters, Team fallout was in CAL-M and could have easily gotten to CAL-P. I think thats where it would’ve stopped though.
SNORLAX637 : All of the original pubmasters CS skill level ranges from CAL-IM to CAL-P Skill level. So I think if we took it serious, we wouldn’t do that bad.
ONS1AUGHT : we probably are not THAT good, but a lot of people underestimate us
FRAILTY[8] : what are you talking about we’ll pwn
ONS1AUGHT : just look at our teamwork, and decide how well we can do with "normal" guns as others like to call them.
FRAILTY[8] : would love to scout ksharp in the face

SNORLAX637 : well CPL banned us because NoA and Team3D got a petition signed for us not to go, because they didn’t want to die from a stack of 5 running CTs at their faces.

*aAa* : what do you think of the last changes in the CS scene ? I’m obviously talking about the story NiP-SK ...
TIMEKEEPER : I honestly don’t care. They are a good team. But we’re 100x better. So we win :].
SNORLAX637 : well, NiP is SK.Swe CS right now...so I don’t really expect anything different as far as how well NiP does in comparison to how they were in SK... but I don’t know what to expect from SK. I was a fan of NiP when they were around, so it’s nice to see that they’re back. But I do not follow the CS scene as closely as I used to
ONS1AUGHT : Yes, I agree
FRAILTY[8] : It’s really just a name change if they have the same team :p
SNORLAX637 : I would like to revert back to beta days though :[

Then the world war 2 of the slap begins and Snorlax has decided to try the job of journalist and started asking questions to his comrades... We will not publish this part of the conversation which was not so important and violent !

*aAa* : so to make it clear, if CS:S is not improving quickly, you’ll go on 1.6 or you will definitely stop CS ?
SNORLAX637 : Or, if someone wants to sponsor us with insanely good computers, I’m sure we can work something out.
FRAILTY[8] : well, it’s hard to say because i think CAL is shutting down the 1.6 division, aren’t they?
SNORLAX637 : yeah. This is the last season for 1.6 in cal and CPL is using source now too. but I don’t know if other leagues such as XGL and UGS will continue to use 1.6
ONS1AUGHT : i think so... so we have no choice really. source is too hardware dependent for a lot of the gamers out there
FRAILTY[8] : yeah, I particularly just need a new processor and maybe video card lol
SNORLAX637 : Yes, I think thats the reason why Doom 3 didn’t get as popular even though the doom series was an excellent serie.

*aAa* : i just have a few questions left but it is a personnal one, in your movie on de_aztec, how 5 ct managed to stand on boxes whereas they were in the ground the second before ?
SNORLAX637 : magic. I’m sorry, but it is top secret and classified information, which is unavailable to the public at the time.
FRAILTY[8] : magic pixie fairies. anyways, it was sv_stepsize
ONS1AUGHT : sorry that is a patented pubmaster secret
FRAILTY[8] : lol EVERYONE KNOWS IT AND i would also like to take this time to say we didn’t have much illegal material in our matches/movie as people claim
ONS1AUGHT : hahaha in all truth, yes it was a server side command sv_stepsize and yes, it was illegal
SNORLAX637 : That was the only official illegal move we made. That and we used shields once. The bomb defuse was never officially declared legal or illegal to my knowledge. 

*aAa* : Have you seen that a lot of great teams are copying your tricks ? I saw mousesports doing the trick to defuse on de_nuke ? Will you take them to the court or are you proud of it ?
FRAILTY[8] : who the hell is mousesports ?
ONS1AUGHT : haha we are proud of the impact we have made on e-sports 

*aAa* : mousesports is the best german CS team
ONS1AUGHT : he knows who mouz is
FRAILTY[8] : uhh, yeah, kidding OHH when you put it as mouz lol, i never knew it was short for that
SNORLAX637 : I don’t really pay attention to CS much anymore, so I haven’t seen anyone doing it.

*aAa* : they did it in the final of a famous competition in europe with a lot of cash but it failed even though they won
ONS1AUGHT : We are here to have fun, we dont want money, and our moves cannot be patented so we are just proud that others have used our strats
SNORLAX637 : well onslaught might not want money but i will take it
FRAILTY[8] : ohh we’re kind of flattered that good clans are doing some of the stuff that we do but we’ll take them on any day :D yeah. i want the money we’ll all live like kings while peter is living in his cardboard box

*aAa* : can we imagine that one day pubmasters will give lessons like 3D in order to teach your tricks ? :p
ONS1AUGHT : =/ lessons hmmmm
FRAILTY[8] : i doubt that we ever would do something like that i don’t think i would do it :\
SNORLAX637 : I’ve gotten offers to give lessons to individuals for money before, but I like how we are unique right now, despite the pubmaster wannabes that are now out there. I don’t know if I want everyone knowing how to run around on faces and how to kill people with a smoke grenade.
ONS1AUGHT : snorlax is correct LOL.
FRAILTY[8] : lol, classic
SNORLAX637 : I didn’t come into pubmasters trying to set a trend or some new style/technique of playing CS, but more to just have fun. 
 
*aAa* : Are you planning to make another movie ?
SNORLAX637 : ummm let’s see... I personally have something planned which should be going underway soon, and then as far as an official Pubmasters 2. If we finish this season in source and/or 1.6 in CAL you can most likely expect something sometime after the season is over.

*aAa* : well i guess that it is finished now, do you have anything else to say ? to thank your mom for being here or anything else ?
