At the end of the second day of the World Championship 2020, LGD Gaming jungler Han "Peanut" Wang-ho answered our questions about the meta and World Championship Main Event.

The team and you had an impressive season, during the Spring Split you ended up fifteenth, and then you made some roster changes and managed to end sixth. After losing to Suning in playoffs you still managed to qualify for Worlds by beating IG in the Regional Qualifier, how does it feel to be back at Worlds?
Obviously ending 15th spot was heartbreaking, but when it occurred everyone in the coaching staff and the players worked hard so we could manage to make it to Worlds.

Then I'd like to talk about the Play-In stage, you've been in a quite difficult position at the beginning, you still managed to qualify and today you pull out this amazing game against Fnatic, what changed in your mindset between the Play-In and the Group Stage?
Even though we're playing in the same Best Of 1 format, now we have Double Round Robin, I think that helps us a lot. Also we were back on stage after a long time so we were a little bit nervous and everything was new, but now we adjusted to it and we're able to perform better in the Group Stage.

Looking a bit forward in the future of this tournament, which team do you think is the most dangerous in your group and in the overall tournament? Outside of LPL teams.
Outside of LPL teams, I think that DAMWON Gaming look really scary, and their performance is on that level. And including LPL teams I’d say TES and DAMWON Gaming, and in our group, well, even though Gen.G is going 2-0 right now, comparing to DAMWON's performances, it makes me feel like this opponent is a bit more winnable.

Now I’d like to talk a bit about the meta, during Spring and Summer we've seen picks such as Trundle, Pantheon, Lee Sin, that are completely out of the meta, which is now dominated by Lillia, Nidalee and Graves. Do you think that new champions can rise in the meta, like Kindred that you played against Fnatic, or will those three champions continue to dominate during the tournament?
I'm pretty sure that those champions will be dominating the of the tournament until the end, but I know that Evelynn is preferred by jungler from EU and others regions and I think Evelynn is also a very decent pick and Hecarim is also on the list. But I’m not sure if it's good or bad, I’m pretty sure it's close to be bad, so I believe this meta will stick to the end.

Why does Evelynn, whom is kind of seen as a SoloQ pick when Hecarim is more like a teamfight pick, is more seen as a decent pick when Hecarim is more seen like a bad pick, from your point of view?
Evelynn is an assassin and she's invisible if she goes stealth, she can exert a lot of pressure by herself. But Hecarim on the other hand, I’m pretty sure all the different teams have already gone through a lot of different experiments during the practice and they know how to deal with and play up against it so it's really hard to perform well and contribute a lot as Hecarim.

Anything you would say to the fans in EU or in China?
Our team is doing its best and even though we were underperforming, or were showing a disappointing performance during the Play-In, I'm really happy and grateful to the fans who kept supporting, we will do our best to become more solid and to perform better so we will make our best to get out of the groups.
