L'ESWC reprend du poil de la bête cette année en accueillant 32 équipes venant du monde entier pour le tournoi masculin, ainsi que 10 équipes pour la compétition féminine !
Désormais sous le nom d'Esports World Convention, la franchise d'Oxent maintenant détenue par Webedia, proposera 75 000$ pour le tournoi masculin et 15 000$ pour le féminin.
Après une édition exclusivement française l'année dernière, où LDLC Blue s'était imposé en grande finale contre LDLC White, l'ESWC s'ouvre à nouveau aux compétiteurs étrangers.
