La célèbre équipe Team3D très réputée pour sa section Counter-Strike a annoncé la création d’une section Painkiller comme le font la plupart des équipes désireuses d’être représentées partout dans le monde en prévision du CPL World Tour :
Over the past two and half years Team 3D has grown from a Counter-Strike team to a premiere professional gaming organization. Since our first scrimmage together we have come a long way and are now one of the most decorated teams in e-sports. Whether it is Counter-Strike or Call of Duty, Team 3D has a rich history of excellence in and out of the game, and today we plan on building upon that foundation with our expansion into Painkiller.
Sean “daler” Price and Mark “wombat” Larsen are the first two members of Team 3D’s Painkiller division and will be representing Team 3D throughout the upcoming CPL World Tour. Both players will primarily be focusing on gaming in 2005 and have a history of success throughout their gaming careers. Previously both players were involved in other games and played Painkiller on the side but are now going to be concentrating on Painkiller for the next twelve months. Sean managed to finish seventh in Painkiller at this past Winter CPL event while competing competitively in both Quake 3 and Doom 3 on GGL’s ladders and Mark will be leaving our Call of Duty squad to focus on Painkiller.
This is the first in a series of announcements for us as we gear up for 2005 and prepare for what is sure to be the biggest year yet for e-sports! A brief bio of each player is below and be sure to welcome Sean to the team.
